MESSAGE FACILITIES ON TELEMATIC NETWORKS
The world-wide network that is by far the most diffused is the Internet. It is accessible through a pass word, a personal computer and a moden which translates what is typed onto the keyboard into impulses that are acceptable by the telephone network.
Telematic message facilities are that part of the network where each user can memorised messages that are destined for other users that may then read them.
A particular word should go to Chat-lines which are also services that are associated with the telematic network but, as opposed to the message facilities, offer real-time communication. That is to say that the addressee can read the messages through a personal computer and reply immediately.
In this particular case, traditional etiquette can be put aside as the respective rules change.
It is not good to insist for a real face-to-face encounter or, in the case where this should occur, one should not cultivate high expectations. Do not spread false or slanderous information about anybody. When using the computer terminal of another person it is a good rule not to abuse it as moden operating costs are quite high. The telematic network offers great cultural and creative growth but is often used incorrectly and, therefore, becomes a place of insult and various other kinds of foolishness.
