
CHOCOLATE TORCOLO
INGREDIENTS:
for the cake mix:
120gr of flour
150gr of butter or margarine
175gr of sugar
150gr of milk
75gr low fat powdered cocoa
3 eggs
one small packet of yeast
for the icing:
100gr of dark chocolate
50gr of butter
PREPARATION:
Mix the butter with the sugar in a bowl, add the egg-yolk, flour, the milk into which the cocoa has been melted, a touch of salt and the yeast. Beat the albumen and add it to the cake mix by delicately stirring the lot in the same direction so that it does not drop.
Pour the entire mix into a buttered cake pan and cook at 175°C for 40 minutes. Use a toothpick to check the cooking stage. Melt the dark chocolate in the butter and pour it, while still hot, onto the cake. Let it cool and serve.
